The first time it happened, I thought it was a fluke...but I felt it again today. While driving to my mom's house with Lauren strapped down safely in her carseat, I noticed a big truck approaching behind me and I anticipated that he would try to overtake me and..I kid you not...my boobs started tingling! It's the mommy version of Spidey Sense! Next thing you know, he speeds up and dangerously tries to pass me before our lanes merged and cuts me off with only inches to spare. I slammed on the brakes and cursed under my breath while the tingling continued for a few more seconds. The last time it happened I was also in the car, at a four way stop. I had a feeling that the girl yapping on her cell phone in the car to my left wasn't paying attention and I felt "the sense" then. Even though I arrived at the stop several seconds before she did (plus I was the driver on the right!), she attempted to cross the intersection after I had started to go and luckily I was ready for her and didn't have to stop too suddenly. Funny how I've only had the sensation when Lauren's in the car with me.
Now I've heard of breastfeeding mothers leaking when they hear another baby cry, but tingling boobs at the first sign of danger? You never read about that in the baby books! So if you happen to be with me and hear me exclaim "My Mommy Sense is tingling" you'll know what I'm talking about and you better run for cover.

I get tingly sensation when I see Jessica Biel or Scarlet Johanssen, but not in my boobs. Is that the same?
Eew. And no, unless your life is in danger, it's not the same. Eew again.
