A little sanding, some spray primer, black spray paint, and a can of chalkboard spray paint later, I got this:
Fun! Lauren enjoys drawing on it and I love how the sides fold down
We needed a new entertainment center/TV stand but didn't have the bucks to buy a new one so I thought I'd repurpose this apothecary table. In its previous life it lived at my boss' house and was painted a distressed/antiqued white. He gave me the table, originally from Pottery Barn, for FREE! The shabby chic look didn't quite fit in with our living room so I primed and spray-painted it black with a satin finish. You like?
Lauren likes it!

Hey Riza. So funny that you should do make overs with spray paint. My friend and I also do this with all kinds of stuff. I've been made fun of because I used spray paint, but it can really do wonders and totally transform something!!!

Charlene, spray paint is my new best friend! I find myself trawling the local Goodwill once a week to see what kind of furniture I can find to makeover.
I don't think I could ever do this. Somehow, DIY stuff seem easier to do in the US.
Nice new look, by the way.
