Tiny Tots Dance Class

So far so good, excited about going to dance class!

Pre-Class Jitters

Lauren's first day of dance class was filled with lots of cute, lots of pink, but, unfortunatley, not a lot of dance. Her poor teacher, Miss Courtney, had a smile pasted on her face while she tried to coax 8 little girls to let go of their mommies' legs. In the end, 3 of them (including Lauren) had to be carried while their mommies skipped, swayed, and danced goofy animal dances, hopelessly urging the "tiny tots" to participate.


I don't know what the kids were so scared of, the sea of pink sparkly tulle or Miss Courtney's high pitched voice.



The only time Lauren let me put her down was at the end, when she ran off to get a sticker. I suggested to her teacher that maybe the stickers should come first to break the ice. She said that they should be ok by next week and that by week 3 the mommies won't even be in the room. I highly doubt it, but we'll see. I'll have my dancing shoes ready just in case.
