We are so blessed to have family, friends, and colleagues that have been so supportive and generous during this special time. We had not one, not two...but FOUR baby showers thrown for us. My mom and sister-in-law, Jo Engebretson from my lab, my friend Veronica, and Peter's office all hosted baby showers for us and we had a great time at all of them.
The experience was all new to Peter since he'd never actively participated in a baby shower before. His officemates threw him a shower where I stepped aside and watched him open all the gifts and he was obviously thrilled at all the attention.
