Lauren had a great time on Halloween. We went Trick Or Treating around our neighborhood and the kids made out with lots of good stuff. Our neighborhood is the perfect place for Trick or Treating: well-lit, nicely decorated, and friendly neighbors who really get into it. The weather was nice so we were able to stay out longer and hit twice as many houses as we did last year.

We came back and had a yummy dinner of pizza, my famous corn chowder, pigs in a blanket, chocolate Jack Skellington cupcakes, chocolate cream pie, and lemon cream pie. I don't even want to think about the amount of calories I consumed in just one evening.

The kids played Rock Band downstairs for the rest of the night while the brave adults gathered upstairs to watch Drag Me to Hell. Lauren was tucked in by then and surprisingly slept through the drums, guitars, and the screams.
